DAY 1: WELCOME TO HOCHIMINH CITY – THE BIGGEST CITY OF VIETNAM

Formerly known as Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest city and the engine driving the country’s current resurgence. It may be the most capitalist city in the country, but HCMC hasn’t forgotten its role in the struggle for Vietnamese independence, as attested by such sites as Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Communist ideals aside, HCMC is once again a dynamic business-minded.

On arrival in Saigon, transfer to your hotel. Your local guide will brief your plan for the whole stay.

DAY 2: HOCHIMINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA – HOCHIMINH CITY (B,L)cho noi cai rang

Leave Saigon for My Tho (1 and a half hours drive) where we embark on the Mekong boat cruise to visit the bee farm, enjoy the bee honey tea, short horse drive ont he village road to the fruit garden (enjoy the fruit and listen to the Đờn Ca Tài Tử – the local folk songs), get on the small sampan along the small canel to go back to the cruise. Cruise takes us to the coconut candy workshop to see how to make the coconut candy. Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant on the islet. It is time to try the local fish called elephant ears fish.

Back to to dock where we see driver for 2 hours drive back to Saigon.

DAY 3: HOCHIMINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS – HOCHIMINH CITY TOUR (B)cu chi 1

Gain insight into the resilience of the Vietnamese people as you investigate the amazing Cu Chi tunnels before wandering along the city’s historic Dong Khoi Street, the former Rue Catinat, and stop to explore the Reunification Palace and War Remnants Museum, Central Post office, Notre Dame Cathedral

DAY 4: HOCHIMINH – DEPARTURE (B)

Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport.
