Day 1: HUE CITY (L)

thuyen thien muPick-up at your hotel in Hue, transfer to the wharf for a morning boat trip on the romantic Perfume River visiting  Hue’s oldest and most revered site Thien Mu Pagoda and mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang. In the afternoon visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh, the Imperial Citadel, Purple Forbidden City and the bustling Dong Ba market that sells a wide variety of local goods and handicrafts.

Day 2: HUE – DA NANG – HOI AN (B,L)Hai-Van-Pass

Depart to the ancient Hoi An town. En route visit Da Nang’s famous Cham Museum. On arrival in Hoi An, explore this charming town which is well-known for its ancient and remarkable architecture of mixed Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese styles from the 16th century: 200 year-old Tan Ky house, Phuc Kien Pagoda, former merchants’ houses, 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colourful riverside market. Late afternoon, excursion to Cam Chau village to see local people make their traditional jewel-like-toned lanterns.

Day 3: HOI AN – MY SON (B,L)

Excursion to My Son Holy land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries. Drive back to Hoi An.

Day 4: DEPARTURE (B)
Free at leisure until transfer to Da Nang airport for departure flight.
